Pinot Nero: elegance, finesse and territorial identity

The Pinot Nero collection brings together different interpretations of one of the most refined and versatile grape varieties in the wine scene. In this selection, you will find still and sparkling wines that express Pinot Nero in different styles, from the more subtle and vertical profile to the more structured, complex, and gastronomic versions.

It is a grape variety that requires great precision in the vineyard and in the winery, but for this very reason, it manages to clearly convey the territory of origin. From South Tyrol to Trentino, from Oltrepò Pavese to Aosta Valley and other vocated Italian areas, Pinot Nero shows nuances of red fruit, delicate spices, floral notes, and a fine tannic structure, often accompanied by a remarkable capacity for evolution.

A grape variety that interprets the territory

Within the collection, there are labels from producers such as Manincor, Cantina Tramin, Colterenzio, Abbazia di Novacella, Ottin, and Baracchi Winery. These producers interpret Pinot Nero with different sensitivities, best enhancing the peculiarities of their respective production areas.

Among the labels present, there are also Riserva versions and selections of particular personality, such as Pinot Nero Praepositus Alto Adige DOC Riserva, Pinot Nero LAFÓA Riserva, MAGLEN Blauburgunder Pinot nero RISERVA, and Red Angel 2020 Pinot Nero Venezia Giulia IGP. The variety of proposals makes this collection suitable for both those looking for a characterful red and those wishing to explore the more tailored side of Italian Pinot Nero.

Still Pinot Nero and Metodo Classico

Pinot Nero is also a fundamental base for great Italian and international sparkling wines. In the selection, there are indeed Metodo Classico and rosé labels, such as Trento DOC, Franciacorta, Alta Langa DOCG, and other similar interpretations, where the grape variety contributes to structure, finesse, and aromatic complexity. This makes the collection interesting for those seeking elegant, versatile bubbles suitable for important moments or a refined table.

Pairings and consumption occasions

Pinot Nero stands out for its great versatility at the table. The more delicate versions pair well with white meats, mushrooms, risottos, and dishes based on flavorful fish; the more structured ones go well with game, roasts, traditional dishes, and aged cheeses. The sparkling variations are ideal as an evolved aperitif, with seafood appetizers, tartare, delicate cold cuts, and contemporary cuisine.

  • perfect for those looking for elegant and territorial wines;
  • suitable for comparative tastings between different denominations;
  • ideal for those who love both fine reds and characterful bubbles;
  • interesting for occasion bottles or for collection.

FAQs
