UN PROFILO AROMATICO COMPLESSO, RICCO E DEFINITO, DOVE SPICCA LA GRANDE INTENSITA’ DEL FRUTTO CON MIRTILLI, RIBES MATURI E LAMPONI, SFUMATURE DI ERBE AROMATICHE TRA SALVIA, GINEPRO, EUCALIPTO E UNA VENA DI PEPERONE DOLCE TIPICO DEL VARIETALE. AL PALATO è ELEGANTE CON SENTORI DI FRUTTO E SPEZIE: IL CORPO è SCOLPITO DAL TANNINO SUADENTE, TESO E COMPOSTO, E UN FINALE PERSISTENTE.
IL VINO
Vino storico dell'azienda, il Cabernet Franc di Vignamaggio viene prodotto con uve provenienti da viti di oltre quaranta anni, riscoperte per caso negli anni ’90 nei vigneti Solatio (Sud-Ovest) e Orto (Est). Il vino che si ottiene sfugge agli schemi tradizionali, infatti le bassissime produzioni per pianta e il clima piuttosto caldo della zona, rendono questo vino pieno e ricco di tannini eleganti. Il vino è affinato per 18-20 mesi in barriques di rovere francese, in parte nuove e in parte di secondo impiego, per poi proseguire con un lungo affinamento in bottiglia.
