We know how precious wine is, which is why our wines are carefully packaged to avoid damaging the bottles as a result of any pressure and fluctuations that may occur during transport.
To ensure that your wine arrives safe and sound at its destination, we use a polyethylene foam packaging that has been carefully designed down to the smallest detail; a safe and reliable packaging. All bottles are then wrapped in this special polystyrene packaging, which covers them completely and provides greater impact resistance. The packaging is thermally sealed and protects the wine from temperature changes that could damage the colour and flavour of the wine, altering it.
In practice, this particular packaging has undoubted advantages in terms of:
- isothermal characteristics
- insulation coefficient
- reuse
and represents extra security for your wines.

The wine purchased on Italian Wine Selection is shipped both in Italy and abroad by courier. Delivery times vary depending on the place of destination:
- Italy (Excluding Islands): 2 working days
- Italy (Islands): 3-5 working days
- Europe: 3-5 working days
- USA: 15-25 working days
- Rest of the World: 12-22 working days

Wines purchased on Italian Wine Selection are shipped via insured courier to ensure maximum reliability in receiving the wine. Delivery times vary depending on the place of destination; indicatively they range from a minimum of 7 to a maximum of 25 working days for shipments to the United States (For Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico shipping surcharge of 40 euros over the base cost). As a reminder, included in the shipping cost are the procedures for filling out tax and customs documents, international shipping assignment, and delivery to the U.S. carrier.
