Description

Fiorduva Furore Bianco Costa d’Amalfi DOC by Marisa Cuomo

Fiorduva Furore Bianco Costa d’Amalfi DOC is an iconic white wine from Campania, a refined expression of the heroic viticulture of the Amalfi Coast. Born from Fenile, Ginestra, and Ripoli grapes, it combines territorial identity, aromatic richness, and a enveloping structure that makes it immediately recognizable. The Doppio Magnum version in a wooden case further enhances its important profile, ideal for special occasions and a prestigious table.

Territory and wine style

The grapes come from Furore and the surrounding municipalities, from coastal terraces exposed to the south located between 200 and 550 meters above sea level. This unique environment, characterized by slopes, light, and ventilation, gives the wine a deep Mediterranean character and a personality that fully reflects the Costa d’Amalfi DOC. The soils of dolomitic-limestone rocks contribute to defining an elegant, intense, and savory style, while the manual harvesting and selection of overripe grapes express the artisanal care of the Marisa Cuomo winery.

Tasting notes

In the glass, it presents a deep yellow color with golden reflections. The bouquet is broad and complex, with notes of apricot, broom flowers, and hints of exotic fruit. On the palate, it shows softness, density, and a rich texture, supported by a very long aromatic persistence. Sensations of dried apricot, raisins, and candied fruits emerge, in an enveloping whole that favors fullness and intensity over lightness. It is a warm, rich, and mature white, designed to offer a deep and memorable tasting experience.

Recommended pairings

The structure of Fiorduva Furore Bianco Costa d’Amalfi DOC pairs well with flavorful and complex dishes, especially from seafood cuisine. It is ideal with shellfish, tartare, and fish carpaccios, first courses with seafood or shellfish, baked fish, and preparations with delicate yet rich sauces. It also pairs well with aged or blue cheeses, as well as traditional Mediterranean dishes with sweet and aromatic nuances.

Serving temperature

The ideal temperature to serve Fiorduva Furore Bianco Costa d’Amalfi DOC is between 10 and 12°C. If the bottle has been stored for a long time, it may be useful to open it a little in advance to enhance the aromatic expression and fully appreciate its complexity.

Why buy it

Choosing Fiorduva Furore Bianco Costa d’Amalfi DOC means opting for a great Italian white wine with a strong connection to the territory, capable of uniting elegance, intensity, and personality.
