Description
Cabernet Sauvignon RARO 2007 Selection Magnum IGT Veneto
Cabernet Sauvignon RARO 2007 by Marion Azienda Agricola is a Veneto red wine with a strong personality, born from a careful selection of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and designed to express in an original way the relationship between an international grape variety and its territory. The Magnum version further enhances its vocation as an important bottle, ideal for special moments and for those seeking a wine with a mature, deep, and satisfying character.
Territory and wine style
This IGT Veneto comes from the Marcellise valley, in a hilly area, from vineyards located about 100 meters above sea level. The territorial context, with calcareous soils, little clay, and the presence of stones, helps define a style that is tense yet rich, while the production philosophy aims to unite microclimate, soil, and the tradition of drying. The vinification indeed involves a portion of grapes harvested and subjected to drying, alongside a second harvest in over-ripening, to achieve a more complex and enveloping profile. Aging in Slavonian oak barrels completes a path designed to provide balance, structure, and depth.
Tasting notes
In the glass, it presents an intense ruby red color with violet reflections. On the nose, it offers aromas of small forest fruits and spices, with an elegant and well-defined aromatic weave. On the palate, the wine is soft, broad, and enveloping, with a rich taste progression and a very pleasant aftertaste persistence. The structure is significant but not heavy, supported by balanced freshness and a long finish, designed to accompany flavorful preparations and characterful cuisine.
Recommended pairings
Cabernet Sauvignon RARO 2007 pairs naturally with red meats, game, and aged cheeses with a strong flavor. It is also excellent with braises, important roasts, and dishes from the Veneto cuisine with an intense profile. Its softness and good persistence make it suitable for rich courses, where the aromatic component and the structure of the wine can interact with the complexity of the food.
Serving temperature
Serve at a temperature between 15 and 18 °C. If the bottle is stored in a cool environment, it may be helpful to open it a little in advance to encourage the evolution of the bouquet and a better expression at the time of serving.
Why buy it
It is an interesting choice for those who wish to purchase a rich, elegant Italian red wine with a recognizable territorial profile. Cabernet Sauvignon RARO 2007 combines the personality of the grape variety with Marion's production vision, offering a label suitable for an important dinner, a meditative tasting, or a cellar seeking bottles with a distinctive character. The Magnum packaging adds value and visual presence, making it also a gift idea with a sure impact.
