Description

Briolè Rosé Classic Method Antonio Caggiano

Briolè Rosé VSQ Classic Method Antonio Caggiano is a quality sparkling wine with an elegant and territorial profile, obtained from 100% Aglianico di Taurasi. It is created to express the personality of a great grape variety from Southern Italy in a fine and gastronomic rosé style, capable of uniting freshness, structure, and a refined aromatic character.

Territory and wine style

The production takes place in the municipality of Taurasi, in a hilly area exposed to the southeast and located about 350 meters above sea level. The clayey limestone soil and the trellising with Guyot pruning contribute to a favorable balance between ripening and taste tension. The manual harvest, carried out in the second decade of September, selects healthy and intact grapes, destined for delicate processing. The secondary fermentation in the bottle according to the Classic Method and the aging on the lees for about two years define a refined, clear style oriented towards finesse.

Tasting notes

In the glass, it presents a brilliant light pink, animated by a fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet combines rose petals, small red fruits, and a slight note of bread crust, a sign of aging on the lees. On the palate, it shows a pleasant softness supported by a well-present freshness, with good liveliness and a finish that recalls almond, elegant and clean. The overall impression is harmonious, with a personality that enhances the raw material and the precision of the sparkling process.

Recommended pairings

Briolè Rosé pairs easily with refined appetizers, raw seafood, fish carpaccios, tuna tartare, fresh cheeses, and delicate first courses. Its acidity also makes it suitable for light fried foods, seasonal vegetables, and preparations based on not overly spicy cured meats. It is an ideal sparkling wine when looking for a versatile wine, capable of elegantly accompanying the table without overpowering the flavors.

Serving temperature

Serve Briolè Rosé VSQ Classic Method Antonio Caggiano at a temperature of 6-8 °C. If possible, a short stay in the fridge before serving is recommended to enhance its aromatic finesse and freshness. It does not require long aeration, but should be opened carefully to preserve the liveliness of the perlage.

Why buy it

It is an interesting choice for those seeking an Italian rosé sparkling wine with character, linked to a prestigious territory and an identity grape variety like Aglianico. Briolè Rosé combines elegance, structure, and pleasantness, making it suitable for both convivial occasions and moments when one wishes to bring an original and distinctive Classic Method to the table. A label that combines craftsmanship, territory, and versatility, with a profile capable of standing out with discretion and personality.
