The collection Best Wines Sicily gathers some of the most representative labels of Sicilian winemaking, in a journey that crosses Etna, Pantelleria, Salina, Menfi, Vittoria, and the other souls of the island's wine. From the fresher and mineral versions to the structured reds and sweet meditation wines, this selection highlights iconic wineries and different styles, with bottles designed for those seeking the best Sicilian wines online.

An extraordinary territory, between volcano and sea

Sicily is a unique region for the breadth of terroir and expressive variety. The volcanic soils of Etna produce tense, savory, and deep wines, such as Etna Bianco and Etna Rosso, often interpreted by leading producers like Tasca d'Almerita, Planeta, Cottanera, Girolamo Russo, Graci, and Palmento Costanzo. Alongside the mountain wines, we find the Mediterranean expressions of the smaller islands, with great whites, passitos, and Malvasias, up to the characterful reds born from Nero d’Avola, Nerello Mascalese, Frappato, and other indigenous grape varieties.

Grapes and styles that define Sicily's wine

This selection features emblematic varieties such as Nero d’Avola, Nerello Mascalese, Carricante, Grillo, Catarratto, Frappato, Malvasia, and Chardonnay, alongside high-level international interpretations. The white wines often display citrus, floral, and mineral notes, while the reds alternate dark fruit, spices, balsamic hints, and an elegant texture. There are also sparkling wines and classic method, such as Almerita Brut or Donnafugata Brut Rosé, ideal for those seeking Sicilian bubbles with personality.

The wineries to discover in the collection

The collection brings together leading producers such as Donnafugata, Planeta, Tasca d'Almerita, Occhipinti Azienda Agricola, Passopisciaro Franchetti, Cusumano, Pietradolce, Hauner, Marco de Bartoli, and Palari. From the most famous labels to niche cuvées, each bottle tells a different story of the Sicilian territory.
