Graticciaia 2016 Rosso IGP Salento Negroamaro Agricole Vallone

Graticciaia 2016 is a prestigious red wine produced by the historic winery Agricole Vallone, founded in 1934. Located in the heart of Salento, Puglia, the winery is renowned for producing wines that authentically express the terroir. Graticciaia is Agricole Vallone's flagship, made from Negroamaro grapes grown as small trees and dried on trellises, from which the wine takes its name.

Features

This wine is an IGP Salento Rosso composed of 100% Negroamaro grapes from old vineyards over 50 years old. The vineyards are located on the Flaminio Estate, characterized by limestone soils and a Mediterranean climate. After manual harvesting, the clusters are placed on racks for a natural drying process that concentrates the aromas and sugars. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging in French oak barriques for about 12 months, and then in bottles for at least a year.
