Features

This Marche Rosso IGT is made from 100% Montepulciano grapes. The vines, aged between 50 and 90 years, are bush-trained on limestone-clay soils. Harvesting is done manually with rigorous selection of the bunches. Fermentation takes place in wooden vats with indigenous yeasts, followed by prolonged maceration. Aging takes place in new French oak barrels for about 20 months, giving the wine unique complexity and depth.

Sensory Notes.

  • Color: Intense ruby red with purplish highlights.
  • Aroma: Rich and complex bouquet, with notes of ripe berries such as blackberry and black currant, accompanied by hints of black cherry, plum and nuances of dark chocolate, vanilla and sweet spices. Delicate balsamic and herbal nuances are also present.
  • Palate: The palate is powerful, enveloping and structured, with velvety tannins and a balanced acidity that lends freshness.
