Luigi represents the fourth generation of a family of winegrowers, but he did not immediately follow the family tradition and began his career as a jockey; not for nothing did he dedicate the Aglianico bottled in 2001 to Varenne, the great trotter, who achieved his greatest triumphs in that year.
