Franciacorta
Franciacorta for sale online at Italian Wine Selection
Franciacorta is one of the few Italian appellations dedicated entirely to sparkling wines made using the classic method. The production of Franciacorta foresees the use of Chardonnay, Pinot noir and Pinot blanc as grape varieties. In the case of Franciacorta rosé, at least 25% Pinot noir is used, unlike the Satèn, which involves a vinification process using only white grapes. Franciacorta millesimato, on the other hand, is produced from grapes at least 85% of which come from the harvest of the year indicated on the label. The minimum period of ageing on the lees is 18 months for the basic version, 24 months for the Rosè and the Satèn, 30 months for the vintage wines and 60 months for the Riserva. In the cellar of Italian Wine Selection you can find the best Franciacorta wines for sale online, from the renowned Bellavista and Berlucchi to Antinori and Ferghettina.
