The best Champagnes in the world in 2023 according to Fine Champagne

Every year since 2010, the renowned magazine Fine Champagne reveals its ranking of the 100 best champagnes in the world. In 2023, according to Tastingbook.com, Dom Pérignon 2013 triumphed with 98 points, completed the podium Taittinger Comtes de Champagne 2012 with 97 points and Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs 2010 with 96 points.

CRITERIA AND OBJECTIVES

The well-known champagne portal defines this ranking based on criteria such as the quality of the champagne and its availability on international markets. Clearly, the score is awarded in the specific vintage for each type of champagne, and does not consider the future potential of the champagne. The aim of Fine Champagne is therefore to encourage lovers of this type of wine to drink more consciously, pleasant to drink at the time of purchase but with potential to improve further in this respect should they be stored in the cellar.
