Caberlot è il nome del vitigno da cui questo vino ha preso il nome. Il ceppo originario è stato individuato negli anni '60 in un antico vigneto sito nei colli Euganei. Il Caberlot coglie la maggior parte dei caratteri cabernet; dal Merlot le sensazioni fogliari e la più moderata vigoria. Prodotto solo in formato Magnum, ha colore rosso rubino con toni granata; il profumo è ampio ed elegante con sentori di vaniglia, caffè tostato, tabacco, ribes, lampone, liquirizia e cacao. Dal sapore asciutto e lungo, Il Caberlot trascorre 18 mesi in barriques nuove di tostatura media e conclude il suo affinamento presso il produttore con due anni di bottiglia. Da assaporare con arrosti di carni rosse, pollame nobile, selvaggina di piuma, formaggi grassi e sapidi
