Brama Syrah 2017 Valli di Porto Pino IGT

Made with pure Syrah grapes from a 20-year-old vineyard, managed by spurred cordon on sandy/clay soil a short distance from the sea and with a yield per hectare of 60 quintals. The grapes are macerated for 15 days during which periodic punching-down is carried out. 

This is followed by an 8-month aging and maturation period in steel tanks for part of the wine; while the remaining mass ages in tonneaux and 2nd passage barriques. This is followed to completion by a further 2 months in bottle. BRAMA shows a bright ruby color, spicy nose with typical hints of pepper, sweet notes of vanilla and caramel. Good structure and balance. Remarkable long persistence. Alc. 14% vol.
