Ha un colore rosso rubino con riflessi granato molto intenso, ricco di sostanza estrattiva. Profumi molto coinvolgenti, dal ribes maturo al tabacco, dalla confettura allo speziato, note di ciliegia tabacco e sottobosco. In bocca è molto fine, di classe, morbido e persistente. I Tannini, dolci, creano un finale lunghissimo. Sicuramente indicato per la conservazione negli anni, proprio come Valentini voleva
