Champagne Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs – Valentin Leflaive

 Il profumo fa pensare a uno Chardonnay vendemmiato a piena maturazione; quindi note agrumate che sono subordinate a quelle più evolute di mela essiccata, nocciola e frutta tropicale; non manca la nota burrosa del vitigno – che si esprime nel ricordo di brioche – e una leggera nuance vanigliata.

L’acidità è perfettamente associata alla cremosità dell’effervescenza in bocca ma non risulta eccessivamente tagliente.

Grassezza e fruttosità danno importanza al sorso, mentre è la sensualità a renderlo esaltante, quando si allarga, alternando gli aromi incontrati all’olfatto con una decisa mineralità, che rende dinamica la progressione. La chiusura è di grande pulizia e buon equilibrio
