Cristal Champagne Brut Rosé 2013 MAGNUM
VINTAGE
The 2013 vintage is characterized by a particularly late cycle! The winter, interminable, gives way to a very shy spring. Indeed, it was necessary to wait until the first days of June for the vineyards to reach full bloom.... This had not happened in Champagne for a long time! Fortunately, the summer was radiant, with record-breaking sunshine and a low level of rainfall, which favored the ripening of the Pinot noirs and Chardonnays. The October harvest took place in cool autumn weather that yielded elegant wines of intense freshness--great "classics."

TASTING NOTES
Soft pink color, light and delicate. Brilliant effervescence, extremely fine and dynamic. Refined bouquet of freshly picked tart red fruits (wild strawberries, raspberries) and flower petals with hints of lemon. The perfumed fragrances are delicately interwoven in their purity and definition, gradually enriching with nuances of fresh almond, bread and spices (cocoa beans). We are well beyond the bouquet, thanks to the perfect fusion of these ethereal-toned nuances. Intense, velvety and bewitching palate that stands out well despite these scents. Juicy, concentrated red fruits gradually accompany toward the raspberry liqueur, supported by invigorating sugary citrus. Harmony and delicacy are reinforced by creamy effervescence that gives a concentrated, rounded sensation. The mineral freshness then relaxes the matter, which becomes vertical, chalky, saline and savory--an endless feeling of acceleration due to the bright and pure limestone soils.
