Champagne Stephan Breton Blanc de Blancs Millesimé 2012
Tasting Notes.
Bright yellow color with golden highlights, with pérlage is fine and persistent. The olfactory profile expresses delicate floral notes, fresh citrus and fruity aromas. On the palate it opens with a nice fruity bouquet, soft and enveloping, with good persistence and freshness.
The Breton family's 8 hectares are located in the village of Arrentières en l'Aube. Here they produce this Chardonnay champagne.
Area: Aube, Côte de Bar. This is the southernmost area of Champagne.
Champagne here is more open, with less minerality, more drinkable. Golden color, fine bubbles, concentrated in aroma and flavor. With nice acidity. Excellent as an aperitif but also with fish, veal and chicken dishes.
