Champagne Brut Cuvée Rosé Bamboo Robe Limited Edition Laurent-Perrier
The eye-catching design of Laurent-Perrier's latest limited edition cuvée rosé bottle dress is inspired by the flora of the jungle. The bamboo dress, made of enamel, is detachable and can be reused for future bottles. This is the fifth limited edition dress that the house has unveiled since 2016: previous models include one depicting butterflies and another with the house's initials.
The bamboo motif is intended to symbolise the importance of the natural environment and, although bamboo-eating pandas are not known in the Montagne de Reims or Bouzy, it also represents the ecosystem of Laurent-Perrier's vineyards. Still a family-run Maison, on the crest of a wave since the 1950s.
The Brut Rosé Laurent-Perrier is one of the very rare rosé champagnes made according to the technique known as 'di salasso', which consists of macerating the grapes so that they naturally transmit colour and aromas to the champagne. A delicate operation that requires precision and patience.
Maison Laurent-Perrier's Brut Rosé is sparkling, with salmon-coloured reflections. On the nose, the first notes presage a fresh champagne, with aromas of strawberry, currant and raspberry. In the mouth, it is fruity, lively and slightly acidic. Notes of small berries are very present, with a great gluttony. A champagne that is perfect both as an aperitif and to accompany a dessert.
